“North Shore Kitchens and Baths is the best! We highly recommend this company. After we completed our first project with North Shore, we realized this is by far the best kitchen/bathroom company we ever encountered. Everything was just as we hoped from beginning to end.

This is why in recent years we have recommended North Shore as the “go to” company for all of our family. Everyone is pleased.

After preliminary discussions each project began with Norman Kellershon coming to the home, very carefully measuring and then moving into the design stage by patiently listening and then exchanging ideas with us.

When we next met, he returned with drawings and explained his highly imaginative, unique designs that got the most out of the available space.

His attention to detail and responsiveness continued beyond the drawings into the purchasing of components stage, and right through the installation to completion by our contractor.

Norman Kellershon’s on sight supervision has proven invaluable; he is a very smart problem solver.

All the North Shore / Trainor family bathrooms and kitchens are beautiful and practical. The kitchens are designed to meet the needs of very proficient/near professional to casual cooks.

An added bonus is the perfectly matched high end hardware and details available for selection as a result of North Shore’s partnering with Essential Elements.

We are so happy that we found North Shore Kitchens!”

“I highly recommend North Shore Kitchens and Norman Kellershon. They take the time to develop a detailed plan taking into account how the customer will be using the kitchen (e.g.: highly functional working kitchen, show kitchen or kitchen for entertainment). They work with very high quality suppliers (both for cabinet manufacturers and for installation and other related work). Projects come in with no unpleasant surprises, on time and on budget. This is the second house where we have remodeled the kitchen and have used Norman and the North Shore Kitchens. They are far and above competition. I am very hands on with my house projects and understand quality design, materials and workmanship – this is what you get through North Shore Kitchens.”

“I am president of an interior design firm. I have worked with this company numerous times on many kitchen and bath projects. I drive an hour just to use them because their customer service and their knowledge is excellent. They have an outstanding knowledge of a large variety of manufacturers and products from fixtures to cabinetry to hardware. They always find product that works beautifully, and they are extremely accessible and pleasant to deal with.”

“North Shore Kitchens did my kitchen and dining room renovation over ten years ago and I still believe that I have the best kitchen in the world! They took down a wall and increased the size of the area which now includes a 9 foot island. The design was not only completely functional but far superior to what I had previously. One of my favorite areas is the authentic walk in French pantry done in subway tile, matching cabinetry and wood shelving. I store everything in there from canned foods to large appliances and serving pieces.

There is also a closet specifically for my vacuum, brooms and cleaning supplies…and it looks beautiful! The mantel over my cook top is massive and I love decorating it for every season. The fireplace surround that North Shore Kitchens designed in the dining room just off my kitchen is also quite lovely. It is done in a marble that blends perfectly with the matching wood wainscot that was installed with a chair rail around the room perimeter. North Shore Kitchens also designed and installed the cabinetry in my master bath and library, I can’t say enough about the quality of the product and the design. It was a pleasure doing business with such a well-established company.”

“The Frank Lloyd Wright of Kitchens – the setting sets the design – 3 homes 3 amazing kitchens. The first, a 100+ year old neoclassical mansion on Long Island’s Gold Coast.. NSK designed a chef’s kitchen with antique glaze and distressed finish cabinets, ubatuba counters, wine storage vault with vineyard scene in stained glass… that could have been in a high end Tuscan villa – la pui bella cucina. The second, regarded as one of the most attractive kitchens in a classic style Hampton waterfront home – adorned with (how do I say a Christopher Peacock without saying it), a 9’ American Walnut island with ships pendants above, Wolfe appliances and 2” Carrera counter – gorgeous.

The third, voted by Forbes Magazine, one of the most decadent kitchens in the US. Highlights include: horizontal rift cut oak, Gaggenau appliances , Dornbracht faucets, 8’ island topped with Afromasia African teak etc. All projects, expert craftsmanship, intricate details, beautiful, comfortable, and functional. And…the joy and I do mean joy of working with NK who stands behind his work. No issue too small. Attention to detail and only one standard- done Wright. A big fan, looking forward to my next project. “When it came time to redo my kitchen, my friend highly recommended North Shore Kitchens. After one meeting with Norman, I knew we would be making the best decision. After listening to our needs for our new kitchen, North Shore Kitchens came up with a plan that far exceeded our expectations. We fell in love with the floor plan and loved all his suggestions. The carpentry was first rate. North Shore Kitchens stayed within our budget, were top notch professionals, and stayed true to their proposed timeline. We absolutely love our kitchen! Our kitchen has become our favorite room in the house. I would highly recommend Norman and his staff at North Shore Kitchens to anyone who is looking to make the kitchen of their dreams.”

“North Shore Kitchens designed my kitchen 30 years ago. It still looks as beautiful as it did then. I would like to make some updates but can’t seem to justify the cost. Norman Kellershon is one of those guys that you don’t forget. He is a real charmer, if you know what I mean. Because of that charm and his intelligence, we’ve been friends ever since.”

“North Shore Kitchens was the right choice for us. Our home is important to us and we wanted to make sure that our contractor would do the job quickly and professionally. North Shore did so much more. Their beautiful design complimented our home perfectly and we are thrilled! Great work guys!”

“Norman Kellershon made our tiny kitchen into a palace by moving some walls and a door. We would never have thought to do that. For a change the contractors were a pleasure to have in our home and our kitchen was gutted and re-done in one week. Thanks so much for a job well done.”

“Our home is near the beach and Norman from North Shore Kitchens designed a kitchen to reflect our love for the ocean. We love the wood, cabinet style and countertops that have the appearance of waves. Everyone who has seen our kitchen comments on its beauty. Thanks Norman!”

“North Shore Kitchens designed our kitchen six years ago and we absolutely love it. We wanted a very contemporary design with simple elegance. We can’t say enough about our experience working with Norman and his team of designers. We liked our kitchen so much that we had North Shore Kitchens design our bar and home theatre areas as well. We have now recommended North Shore Kitchens to three of our friends. They are equally thrilled with their projects.”

“I am a spec builder and North Shore Kitchens has designed four different kitchens for me. The first kitchen was for a newly renovated large estate in Huntington and was done in an old world style with traditional elegance. The cabinetry and design was intricate and reflected the period of the house. The second project was a large kitchen in a newly constructed Victorian style house in Bridgehampton. The design was a typical traditional Hampton look with white shaker cabinets, white Carrara countertops and stainless steel hardware.

The next project, also in Bridgehampton was totally opposite of the others. This new contemporary house was designed and built in a Zen style using ‘green’ construction. The very contemporary kitchen with white quarter saw oak cabinets is being featured in a coming Forbes Magazine. North Shore also designed various other cabinets throughout the three house projects including entertainment units, bathroom vanities, outdoor kitchens, and all wood closet systems. The current project that North Shore Kitchens has just completed is for a friend of mine who was on a limited budget. Norman Kellershon, the lead designer, designed a very attractive new kitchen that was priced just right.

I have full confidence in North Shore Kitchens and have total respect for Norman’s expertise as a professional. It has been my pleasure working with them and I look forward to future projects.”
